Hi ladies, I am hoping to get insight into this...
We started weaning our little man four days ago, as he has just turned 5 months. Started on puréed sweet potato. The first time he pulled a face all the way through his lunch, and I only gave him a couple of spoon fulls (which he hardly swallowed).
The next day he took a bit more in and actually swallowed. On the third day he was opening his mouth to be fed! On the forth day (today), I was out and his dad fed him. The baby was super keen and had three quarters of what I had prepared. Pic below.
Sooooo, his poo tonight (sorry!) was basically sweet potato!!! Didn't look like much of it was digested.
My question is - is that normal or do I need to step back and give him tiny amounts?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Xx
