weaning and constipation

Since introducing solids to Oscar he has become really bunged up in the bottom department!!

I have some Califg (laxative) in the cupboard. Do you think if I take it it will pass through to him and help him go

Boiled and pureed pear always gets Matt going! I would just use fruits to get him on the move - you could try the laxative thing but it might backfore on you! lol xx

Haha, I'll be backfiring for sure lolol!!

So far I've tried a Sippy cup, bottles of all shapes and sizes, beakers. The little sod won't touch them!

good luck with the liquids in other forms! I should be pleased I guess with our problem being totally the other way round!

Zac had awful constipation wen I started him on solids, he was in agony trying to go, when he did go there was blood in it, awful! I got suppositories from the gp, hated having to do it, but it really helped. Persevere with the cups, took zac a while but now he is really good with it and has about 50ml of water with every meal. Hope he can go soon xxx
