hello ladies jus a quicky is it safe to wax when pregnant by this i mean any type of waxing and does any one have any facts. basically im trained in waxing and i have never heard of it being unsafe in the first tri or all the way through a pregnacy but i read on another forum that its unsafe. Now my logical brain is sayin HELLO your professional trained if any one will no you will lol but my baby brain as always is putting doubt in my head iv been pregnant for 9 weeks and i have been waxing for 5 years how can my baby brain make me doubt my 5 year knowledge lol and it will just get worse wont it when the baby comes i will doubt everything lol

well im just going to wax and defo will be stopping doubting myself from now on im heating my wax as we speak lol

Hi,

I'm not exactly sure but just found this on a site on google:

There does not appear to be any evidence to show that waxing is unsafe in pregnancy and many women continue their usual regular waxing programme.

Hope that's ok for you!

hehe yeah thats good enough for me lol i spoke to the best waxer in the uk about it and she said it was safe lol i jus guess im in for a life time of worry lol

Well I couldn't see anything on my box of Veet and went to town downtown yesterday (I'm very lazy you see ) and have had no adverse reactions. I'd stay away from the creams just in case as they're quite nasty but waxing should be fine :?

I waxed all the way through my pregnancy and had no problem - other than seeing what I was actually doing to myself near the end

 Yes I think maybe going to a salon towards the final months might be a sensible option. I have heard stories about women who have attempted to use the razor before birth and getting it very wonky indeed

im quilfied in waxing but even i dont think il be doing it my self in the later stages of pregnacy lol far to akward and i would say pain full but il be in for a lot more pain befor long lol :rotfl:
