Do I wash the bedding set I have bought for cotbed before it goes on?
in fact this is going to sound daft but do i need a duvet type thing?
ive bought a bedding bale and actually no idea whats in it!
he he

It's upto you hun, I washed everything first last time. Also its recommended that you don't use a quilt, as baby can do too hot, best to use sheets and blankets :) x x

fab ive just checked and the set i have bought has a flat sheet and a fitted sheet and a blanket
so confusing!
xx

The whole bedding thing is a bit confusing isn't it? I have bought some fitted sheets, celular blankets, a sleeping bag (says suitable from birth but I have heard mixed feelings about this) and a swaddling blanket....

I will be washing everything before hand. xx

Yes , I definitely would wash in very sentensive skin suitable stuff, I wouldn't use a quilt for a newborn if your going to swaddle you will only really need the bottom sheet on mattress or if not then a couple of light-weight blanckets will be plenty. xx

Swaddling blankets for the early months and then the grobags is what i have used and will use again. My boys were about 12 months before i used the duvet.
