'warm' not 'hot' chicken fajitas

Hi ladies
This is a very bizarre post and probably me just being paranoid! We had one of those ready made fajita kits for tea. It was supposed to be in the oven for 18mins, I put it in for 25mins. The chicken was warm in the middle, not hot. I was so hungry I couldn't be bothered putting it back in for a bit! I'm now having a massive panic about listeria. Am I being silly???? X

I wouldn't worry too much hun, it's probably. I would think it would be obvious very quickly if you had caught a nasty bug from eating undercooked chicken. And if you have cooked it at the correct temperature for longer than the stated time it will probably be completely fine.

As long as it was cooked through I think you'll be fine x

Thanks ladies. It was precooked so I suppose it was just a case of heating it up? I just read the packaging and it says 'ensure food is poping hot'. X
