Hello ladies,

I'm currently studying in my final year as a journalist. I'm a junior photojournalist with my own camera equipment and photoshop editing software.

For my photojournalism unit i'm doing an insight into the birthing process and I plan to take photographs of your progression and obviously some scrummy pictures of your newborn afterwards. I will be offering the photographs free to any lady willing to help me. Treat is as an opportunity to aquire some fantastic photographs to remember your special day by.

Anyone interested in the Southampton area with their due date within the next four weeks please write a comment on the thread and i'll be back to you ASAP.

Good luck and congratulations to everyone,
Thank you,

Pollyanna Jones

Good luck hun... but i personally wouldn't want anyone other than my husband or at a push family around when i'm in labour... xx

Likewise.
I found it dornting and stressful to have 2 midwives and 3 doctors around me never mind someone with a camera!

In the hospital I gave birth in there is only one person allowed to be in with a labouring woman throughout her labour and this must be the same person right the way through . So this would never have been an option for me , also during my first labour things got very intense and it wouldn't have been advisable at all !
However I do like the idea of having some pictures of afterward or early in the labour stage while I was calm . It might be a nice option for a home birth too ?

I would actually do this but im not in the area or due in 4 weeks im due in 7ish weeks so thats no good! xx
