Wacky and Weird

So here's the thing...

We were making omelettes for tea one evening recently and I had bought a half dozen large free range eggs. OH and I had just been talking about our TTC efforts and I cracked an egg into the bowl to beat it. It was twins...ie a double yolk. Imagine how weird I felt when all THREE that I used one after the other were ALL twins? And when I used the rest of that pack this morning, two more were twins. There was only one regular egg in the pack!

My husband looked at me and said, "Erm...let's take a little break tonight!"

Someone in the family is in for a surprise...

omg lol that is weird but i thought a double yolk meant a pregnancy in the family ?

coz i cracked a double yolk weeks ago and if it the twins well.....lol im a twin myself

That is kind of wierd to have that many! I can't ever remember cracking a egg and there being two yolks. I know it happens, but I've never seen it myself.

Well, budge, I'm not the hardboiled type, but I've told you ova and ova again that there's no need to walk on eggshells around me! I may be cracked but having that many yolks is no yolk! I'm not shelling out any more money for twin eggs! I wish I'd taken a photo, it would have been one for the album -in!
