Anyone else feel really vulnerable since being pregnant!? I was on the bus today on way to see midwife and this girl sat opposite me kept looking me up and down and giving me a bit of a dirty look, she looked quite rough too. I kept trying to avoid her gaze so as not to provoke her. I normally wouldn't be so intimidated by people but I just kept getting so many things going through my head like what if she attacks me or hits me in the stomach or something! I know she wouldnt have any reason to but I really didnt like the way she was looking at my bump and there's so many nutters out there.
Turns out she got off the bus before me anyway, thankfully. But I just felt really shook up for some reason and I feel really silly.
On a brighter note though midwife appointment went well, measurement, sample, heartbeat and blood pressure were absolutely fine
and baby is still head down. Was a bit suprised though when she said I won't need to go and see her again for another 4 weeks, I thought after 30 weeks you were seen more regularly. So I'll be 34+6 next time I see her.
Had my flu jab too which went fine, nurse was lovely and kept me talking as I said I don't like needles.
Sorry for long post, well done if you've actually got to the end of it. Haha
