Is it sad that I'm soooo looking forward to my boys first Christmas and visiting Santa? I'm welling up just thinking about it. Just hope he doesn't cry LOL! Will you be taking your LOs to visit Santa?

I think we will tell the truth from the beginning about Santa so no Santa trips for us, well maybe if she still wants to lol but I see no harm of going with LO to the santa :)
I would probably leave it for next Christmas when he will understand a little more but If he will behave you will have a cute picture
I would think that the big beard may scary him but you can never know he may be fascinated actually!!!!

Awww no santa hope! I love giving the kids in my life a little magic, fairys, santa my mates daughter thinks a friendly monster lives under my stairs in the cupboard and brings pennys for him and slots them under the door lol!! I was a very inagintive child myself and still love the idea of it all now! I can't wait to take my own kids to see santa!

 Fapatalking

There's a local railway near us that does Santa train rides. I'm stupidly excited about it.

Using Tapatalk can't see no tickers grrrrr.

Oh yes he'll be going :D and "he'll" be getting an advent calendar :oooo:

I cannot wait to take LO to see Santa for the first time. I am getting stupidly excited about Christmas this year.

I found out about santa when I was about 4/5 as my Dad sneezed when putting my stocking on my bed! He tried to say he was helping Santa but I never believed him.

I want E to believe for the first few years as it just adds to the excitement.

On tapatalk so can't see tickers :-(
Excuse the typos, phone has mind of its own.

To say I'm excited this year is an understatement. Christmas has always been magical for me (well apart from one year with the ex inlaws from hell!!!) our baby will be 12 weeks and she will Defo be going to see Santa. Mummy has a miss clause dress and striped tights ready!!!!!!

I plan on making my own picture Xmas cards this year again. I did the same last year. Dressed up my kitty in a Santa suit with hood and smooched his face for the pic! This year I think I will get one of baby and do that!

Christmas last year was my fav so far. Visited my nephew who was 5 and just blown away by the magic of Santa and his little brother was 12 weeks and none the wiser. My oh and I woke up on our first Christmas morning together and everything just felt perfect.

Weakening up just me, my yummy mr and our baby will be beyond perfect, will be like a dream come true. Jeezo, there's the tears again!!! 99 days to go!!! Xx

I can wait!!! I'm soooooo excited! In our lil village, every year Santa comes on his sleigh with the reindeer (no I'm not joking :-)) through the artery to his grotto! Everyone comes out to line the street Hehe :-)

Sounds amazing! We will be going on the swanage railway. It's a steam train ride and Santa comes and visits all the children while on the train. I'm so excited. I love Christmas! Not the expense but the family getting together etc. :-) xx

It is awesome, you can go and stroke the reindeer before as well :-) impressive as its just our town in the valleys :-)
Train sounds Kool too :-)

Eeek I forgot I can do things like this now with bubs although mine will probably be too young this year but it's exciting to think of doing this in the future :)

Same as sammy! I think LO will be too small but I look forward to the day when I can take him/her to see santa. I have a 6 year old sister and it is amazing to see the magic in little kids when christmas is here. I am so taking my LO to the "North Pole" on one of those trips, I've always wanted to go so maybe it is more for me? lol

I went on one of those trips when I was about 9? I didn't believe in Santa anymore but my little brother and sister did and it was BRILLIANT! It was just a day trip and it was -40 degrees but it was so worth it. We went on a husky and sleigh, a reindeer and sleigh, and horse and sleigh!! And when we met Santa, even though I knew it was real, seeing my wee brother and sister completely in awe of this guy giving them a present they really really wanted was soooo brilliant! Also saw the northern lights! I really really hope I will be able to take my LO to do this too one day as it was the trip of a lifetime :) :) xx

My little one will be 6 months start of Jan. so a bit small for Christmas. But will take him to see Santa. And wrap him all up to see the lights getting turned on in town and to the Christmas market :) snowsuit and Pompom hat ;)

Iv never even heard of this!!!!!! How do you do it???xxx

I think my mum booked it through Monarch as almost like a package holiday but we only went for a day...we left Bristol first thing in the morning and got back very late night the same day. All the various sleigh rides were included in our package and so was meeting Santa and we were also given certificates to say we had crossed the Arctic circle (well a bit of it anyway :P). I'm sure travel agents must have various packages for this kind of thing though.xx

My OH did the Lapland trip when he was younger! He said it was amazing! X

Oh wow!!! I'll need to remember this for a few years... My friend is a travel agent, I'll ask her :) thanks xx

We'll be going to see Santa! (even though I hate Xmas and Santa kinda freaks me out a bit!). We went last year when Lo was nearly one, he wasnt really interested in meeting Santa or getting a present/pic, but he loved the lights and the trees and the reindeer!

I'm totally saving for Lapland! It's something I have always wanted to do and I think when Lo is older he would be blown away by it! It's such a magical experience, my sister has been 3 times and she said it was the best trips shed ever taken. You can book it through a travel agent or there's some places online that do it. It is pretty expensive though but it's so worth it x

Love, Jugs x
