Very hungry baby!!

Hi Talia has been feeding non stop over the last few days!! She's draining about 5 bottles of 7 oz bottles a day as well as eating solids and finger foods! Shes started waking up in the night agin for boobie milk and then another 7 oz bottle!! She's a bit more fretful than normal and isn't sleeping as much. Does anyone know what it could be? is it a growth spurt? Answers much appreciated, i cant keep up with her!! lol

Yeah! Baillie was up all night breast feeding about three weeks ago. This is when I switched to bottles.

It certainly could be a growth spurt, however I found Ricky at this age needed to find a new way to settle rather than with milk (I exclusively breastfed). Do you use milk to get her off to sleep? Only asking cos my friend's baby who is 1 has milk through day and night to settle her and during her recent weigh in was told she's gotta cut down as she's far heavier than she should be (2 and a hslf pound heavier than my baby who's 6 months older and nearly off the chart for length!)

Hi well up untill now Talia would only wake up once during the night usually around 2-3 ish (from being put to bed at 7pm) I then just put her to bed with me and boobie feed her and she normally goes back to sleep untill around 8am ish. Over the last few days though, after a full bf she just wont settle and screams untill i give her a 7 oz bottle, and then finally goes back to sleep!!
