Well after a phase of samuel sleeping all night, recently he has started to have very bad trapped wind that is keeping us all up.

Wednesday night we only got about an hours sleep :(

He has been on a bottle of formula a day for about three weeks, but on saturday night he slept soundly so we are not sure if it is the introduction of the formula or not.

I'm also still blaming every single thing that I am eating and drinking because of the breast milk. I've cut down on caffeine but no difference yet.

Should I be questioning what I am doing or is this just a phase that we have to ride out that is nothing to do with what we are doing.

Awww Brody had a phase of this too.
Have you tried gripe water?

Another thing to try is winding as much as you can during the day too, and try to keep him upright eg in a chair or bumbo when you can to help him bring it up on his own.
