Hello! I've had my vbac clinic appt & am now in 2 minds what to do. I would love to push but am scared of the risks of my uterus rupturing. I feel like such an unlucky person with health that I'm worried I'll be part of the small percentage of people it happens to!

Can anyone share any successful or unsuccessful vbac stories? Good or completely horrible I really wanna hear. Am researching as much as possible before making my decision. Thanks! Xx

I'll be following this thread with interest, there doesn't seem to be a lot of information out there from actual people, plenty of statistics, but it would be nice to hear of some real experiences

I had a section wi my first and then went on to hav to successful normal deliveries so it's Def possible xx

I had ds via emergency c section and 3 and a half years later had a successful vbac with dd. No one had mentioned anything about about a possible rupture so went in blissfully ignorant as had I known I think I might of panicked. I was worried about needing another c section and opted for an epidural after a few hours as I worried about leaving it too late and then ending up with general anaesthetic. All went relatively smoothly, they did an episiotomy in case I needed forceps but managed to push dd out with no extra help at all. No ruptures or anything and I went home the next day. Planning on another vbac with this one, I'm allowed but my consultant isn't as supportive as my last one and will send me to theatre if any intervention or induction is needed x
