V Day!!!

Morning ladies!!

My baby is considered viable today. Happy, relieved and feeling confident as each week goes by but obviously want him/her to cook for at least another 12 weeks.

Now I'm off to brans hatch to watch cars go round and round

EEEEKKKKKKK I need to get on the eBay hunt for a birth pool. Thinking of tens machine too. What do you think of them?

I've been looking for a pool on eBay, there are plenty but none near me
I didn't personally rate the tens machine but some like it. It's no good for anything more than early labour x

LOL Scary isn't it!!!!

Yes you need to get organised hun lol, I was gonna use a tens machine last time but never got round to getting one, think ? I might rent one this time. Its about £30 for 6 weeks and they send it to you 3 weeks before you're due.

The only thing I would say is try one first as my sister had one for her labour but didn't like the sensation, so didn't end up using it. I'm going to borrow my dad's to try it first x x

Ok thanks for the advice girls. I did hear that it only works in early labour but I want to try and stop myself panicking from the pain because then I will definitely end up with epi LOL

I wonder where I can try one, might ask the midwife this friday. OMG I'm having a baby!!!

That's what happened with DD, don't want epi this time, great pain relief, but was then stuck in bed until they told me I was ok to get up!! I was also left on my own with LO after OH went home, waiting for them to come and wash me and take me to the ward, not the best thing when all you want to do is wash your hands and go to sleep!

However, if the pain is that bad then epi all the way! But I'm determined to do everything on my power to avoid it this time Early labour was so much worse than I ever dreamed it would be, so by the time I finally reached 4cm, I was desperate for an epi!! x x

Yes I'm definitely not going to be a martyr regarding pain relief but hope I can get through it as naturally as possible.
