using a doppler

Just read the angelsounds doppler thread and somebody said midwifes don't like you using one as it can annoy the baby...

Can it really? I feel so guilty now as when I first got mine I used it all the time...now I only use it if i'm having a worry moment...

Sorry baby, diddn't mean to annoy you I can just picture the baby frowning at me lol

I think its more what the other person said (sorry cant remember who it was )

They dont like you to have them because when/if for some reason ur not able to find the heartbeat you'll be calling them panicing! lol xxx

I doubt it Jade, I woudln't worry - judging by how hard the sonographer had to press to get my baby to move for my NT scan, unless you've really been struggling to find the hb baby won't have noticed!

thanx girls. if i ever cant find heartbeat i just have something to eat or drink and try later like it says in my instructions. glad i havnt been agravating the baby lol
