Has anyone got a piece of useless information they would like to share with the rest of us? Here's one to start

Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to west (which seems logical).

ok i think i go one

when de frosting your freezer remember to turn it off

does that count?

dont lie weestar ... she knows loads of crap about mcdonalds, loads and loads :D

I have some but its not useless ... use a changing mat when changing a baby!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

if a customer complains in mcdonalds they are entitle to a full free meal plus deserts,(if you dont want it then they will take your name address and telephone number and you call them up tell them when you will be back down and they will have it ready for the next time) if you are waiting ina drve thru que for more than 5 minutes before being served same rules apply

if you have gone through drive thu and they tell you to park up if your food isnt with you in 3 minutes your entitle to free deserts

you should always ask for your fries withought salt(they have to bemade fresh)
drinks with no ice(will be toped up to the top)
burgers with extra pickles or withought pickles(will have to be made fresh)

all the food you can see in the bin( the silver stand all wrapped or boxed) can stay their mor maximum of 15 minutes bfore going into teh rubbish bin
fries can stay in teh fry rack for 20 minutes before going in the bin

sorry i worked for McDonalds for 3 years and just know all teh ins and outs

Also, chicken can be kept in the hot drawers for 20 minutes??? It's been a while but I also worked at McD's for many years.
I might add that in the restaurants I worked in over the years, the staff and managers alike were very crap about ensuring food was actually discarded after the correct period as the cost of this is logged and the manager running the shift would look pretty incompetent if their food cost was high. So rather than controlling what the staff produced, they would simply try not to throw stuff away even if it was past it's time slot.

Now onto a few of my useless facts lifted from the following website: http://www.philbrodieband.com/jokes-amazing_facts.htm.

Apparently on average people break their little toe up to 3 times a year, but just don't realise it.

Your skin weighs twice as much as your brain

Your hearing is less sharp after eating too much

The Chinese used fingerprints as a method of identification back in 700

The chicken is the closest living relative to the Tyrannosaurus Rex

Great thread!!

Aha - you're knowledge is far more up to date than mine - I left 10 years ago. It certainly used to be 20 minutes for Chicken Patties and Nuggets back then..!!! Glad it's changed as 20 minutes always used to seem far too long (you could bounce a nugget from one end of a restaurant to the other before they used to bin them...!)

Ouch! That could explain why it hurts so bloody much when you stub your little toe!
