Urine Infection

Hi All,

I believe these are fairly common during pregnancy. I was getting the "needing to pee even after peeing" syndrome earlier so rang my midwife to see if i could take the sachets for cystitis. Turns out you cant.

I now need to book an appointment with the GP which i will do tomorrow. I expect they will give me antibiotocs. Does anyone know how long you have to take them for? They tend to mess up my crohns abit so im hoping its not a long course.

I have no idea sorry! But I have heard that drink cranberry juice is very good for cystitis! Maybe you could try that as well?

Oh i just googled! It says 3 days on antibiotics!!

I was given 4 days worth of antibiotics and had to take them 3 times a day. Hope it clears up soon
Make sure you drink plenty of water to flush all the nasty bugs out
