When everyone updates a thread, do they just edit? It seems like when other people update it goes to the top but when I did it stayed where it was... Or is it just when someone replies to the update that it moves?

Update in the first post is easiest as it makes it quicker for people to find and read. Use the edit option to do this.

Then to bump it up the page, make a new post in the thread and just say something like

'Updated first post'

and it'll get a new post made status and people will see this.

Also worth changing the title of the post when you edit it to say 'update 1' 'update 2' and so on so people know.

Hope that makes sense

First you need to edit and then you need to make a post which'll bump it up to the top of the recent posts

It took me a while to work that out, I tend to just put an 'updated in first post' post :D
