been for my hospital appointment this afternoon and was there for 4 hours!!
But the outcomes are:
Saw the consultant and the aim is to get to 34 weeks before we deliver by c-section, and continue to monitor twice a week with fortnightly growth scans. But to be prepared that if anything is picked up then baby would be delivered early.
Its quite scary to think that baby could be here about this time next month, but obviously needing special care being so small and so early. It has also been suggested that I should consider not going back to work after half term. Not sure how sitting at home stressing out all day is going to help either.
I'm slowly comming to terms with what is going to happen but can't quite bring myself to think about the time after the birth. Even if it all goes reasonably well I know that there will be a day when I have to come home and leave baby in hospital, not even contemplating what would happen if it didn't go well.
Knowing that others who are going through a similar experience and are keeping positive is so comforting. xxxxx
But the outcomes are:
- Blood pressure is fine
- Diabetes is under control
- No protein in urine
- Blood flow to baby is poor
