Unsure about how many weeks i am

Hi All
My last period began on the 14th of March. I took a pregnancy test on the 12th of April which came back positive! Now i think about it I'vebeen having pregnancy symptoms since at least the 1st of April when i started thinking that i was starting to get the car sickness back that i used to suffer from asa child! Ive also been moody and emotional. My question is, can symptons start that early, as my march period was about half as long as usual - at the time i didnt think anything of it. i'm wondering if perhaps i could been 8 weeks and not 4 weeks. Any thoughts?

According to nhs website you are around 4 weeks hun!!

Yep, initially your pg is dated from the first day of your last period so you're 4wks 6 days. Congrats!

Congrats! Probably 4 weeks, but if you have any doubts then share them with your midwife, they may be able to offer an earlier scan to check dates if your concerned your last period was unusual and maybe not a period.

I used http://www.yourduedate.com to give me an idea. Your gp/midwife will only date you from first day of last period which may then change at your first scan.

My last lmp was 11th Feb and was only 2 days instead of 4 but my dates were right and I'm just over 9 weeks now. It still counts as normal. To be fair, although it was unusual I haven't mentioned it. Have had 2 early scans are dates are correct from lmp. Xx
