The other day my hubby said about his penis being different from everyone elses. I hadn't known any different having only seen his. Basically the tip of the penis is half gone...it's hard to describe. It's not the full round mushroom shape lol...only half of that. Anyway he had to gave that bit removed when he was really little for some reason and he seemed to remember the doctors saying something about children. Embarrassingly he had to ring his mum to ask what it was. She couldn't remember properly but from what we can gather it's basically a very slight drop in being able to conceive as easily. Hopefully that's right if anything and it's not a slight chance on being able to at all!
I looked everywhere on the net to find out about this procedure but couldn't find anything that matched it..only full/partial removals that don't look anything like it. I didn't want to ask here cos I feel it's invading his privacy but he won't know and I would like to know if anyone here has been with a man with the same situation?

Sorry but never seen anything like that - does the 'embarrasing illness' show have a website where you could ask? they seem to have a vast knowledge of really obscure and rare conditions - I dont mean for one minute go on it or anything but you may be able to get the info anonymously...

Mind you I would've thought that if it's only the tip and he can still ejaculate ok that it shouldn't have any effect on his fertility.

I would definitely go and see the GP, they should be able to tell you wether it will greatly affect his ability to have children or will be able to point you in the right direction. I think it would be something to do with getting the sperm to the right place rather than actually being a problem with the sperm so thats a positive.

worst comes to worst you could use the turkey baster method... but there are probably tips and tricks you guys could do to aim the sperm in the right place x

You could get him to ask to see his medical records hun xx

Thanks guys. I didn't think of the records lol. He has always had a low sex drive but that's probably due to stress and meds all his life. He can still ejaculate ok although has many dry spells. But nothing seems to be wrong with everything working so that's good. I guess we will just try a while when its time and then if nothing happens see about it.

what operation did he have done, if he can ejaculate normally then i wouldnt of though an op on the end of his penis would affect his ability to have kids.

I dunno what it's called. I looked it up on the net and found something called full or partial something beginning with p where the full penis or part of it is removed but that's normally to do with cancer and the pictures look nothing like it. So I dunno lol. I think it was something to do with the foreskin and it being too long maybe. He's not circumcised tho.

If he can pee and ejaculate then I'm pretty sure it won't effect his chances of having kids. Sperm have a good sense of direction and can actually smell the egg xxxxxxxx
