Olivia twitches loads in her sleep - particularly when she is in a deep sleep. I don't think it is anything to worry about...is it??

no thats totally normal-babies are so used to being all enclosed and snug so when they areborn they still have all these reflexes..you know like the startle reflex when they throw there arms up. i think they twitch and move like that because they are used to being all secure on all sides and no space. maybe try swaddling it can help make them feel secure and stop them being all restless like that.

Nothing to worry about - perfectly normal (my DH still does it at 35!). As suggested swaddling can reduce the volatility of the twitches so they're less likely to startle themselves awake (I don't swaddle DH though, in case you were wondering  )

^^ Ha ha!!!

Yes, LO used to do that lots, used to startle alot in sleep... often wake himself.

Some babies still do it at 4months (My friends DS does).

i still do it  , and my daughter does too lol
