Twins???

Did the sonographer say whether it was twins or not?

He wasn't sure. He said it could be extra fluid but we should be able to tell at my next appt. The dad is a twin and so is the gma.

It’s hard to tell really, one you can tell is definitely a pregnancy sac but the other I’m not sure, did he say you are definitely 6 weeks along? Twins is only more likely if it runs in the maternal side of the family by the way as it is caused by the women’s chance of releasing more then 1 egg or her eggs splitting which she inherits from the women in her own side of the family so it makes no difference if dad or anyone in dads family is a twin x

Really hard to tell by those scans to be honest. Only time will tell x

I just found out my great aunt had twins and another family member on my moms side had twins.

I should've been about 7 weeks. He put me at 6 based on my period but honestly said it looks more like I'm 5.

So do you think you just got your dates wrong then? Are you going back for another scan to see how things are getting on? Hopefully if they rescan you in a few weeks will definitely be able to tell you if twins or not x

I tracked my period on an app. Should've been pretty accurate unless my ovulation was off. I go back October 30th.
