twinnies or single??????????

Hi ladies .. I'm soo excited to be here me and my hubby have been trying for a baby for aboyut 5 months and finally been blessed with our rainbow bubba,
I'm so excited and so is he ! but I'm curious if I'm pregnant with twins as I have been known to ovulate on both sides in one month .. this month I'm unsure as it was the month we actually took a break from trying !!
... Basically ive been exhausted, so sleepy, nausea on and off .. super forgetful .. get worn out fast .. super irritable and either bloated or measuring big !! ive also gained two pounds roung abouts and I'm only 4 weeks and 5 days ! so I'm inserting two pics so you ladies can have a guess whether you think I'm having a single baby or maybe two

so first one is me in navy blue that's yesterday during the day .. 12pm
in white is me after a bath tonight 19.30pm

Its hard to say really. Do you want 2? I think it would be so exciting!

I wondered this time if i was having twins, i had gained so much weight so fast by my first scan and ended up measuring 10 wks with one baby instead of 12 weeks. But then ive been eating a lot to keep nausea at bay and other factors to weight gain so mines a food baby not twins ��.

Thankyou Mel ! I would love any amount if I'm honest 1 2 or 3 to me I'd be just as thrilled ... I've just debated it as I do get period pains ( no blood and not intense ) but stretching and got that from before 14 dpo my heart is deffo pumping faster doing normal things I'm more out of breath and my boobs are so much bigger already its crazy !
Plus the weight gain is crazy .. I struggle to put weight on and would have to lift heavy weights and drink a ton of high protein shakes to maintain some curves ! Plus I'm hungry a lot ! Like I get hungry knots starving every night and I've eaten well through the day !! Just makes you wonder right ��

How far gone are you now ? Wow I mean it has to be done if your body is saying eat got to do it �� It's so exciting isn't it ?!!

I found that i had a lot of bloating in the beginning so looked more "pregnant" in the early days. It may well be twins but may be a singleton, no way of knowing until the ultrasound really I am afraid!

I wonder if you are just experiencing the dreaded bloat!? Maybe not twins but who knows till the scan- so exciting!

I was about 7 stone 9 i think unless id gained a bit before i got pregnant, and now over 8 stone at 13 weeks, couldn't believe i felt so huge i thought it could be twins... and it was just 1 baby more than 2 weeks smaller than the estimate!! i shouldnt bother but weight gain is making me really angry! When the nausea hits i reach for cereal or something quick even if ive recently eaten and now i feel like its such a pattern will i reign it in if the nausea calms?

I've also stopped breastfeeding and my son has started to sleep through whereas i used to rock him soooo much ( burning cals!!) so i have many factors working against me. I think tiredness has turned me into such a mum cook too ... I just cook based on time and energy and less about lean & healthy. Ugh!

I felt symptoms from as early as 4 weeks, and the doctor thought I was further along so sent me for blood work. Came back at almost 4000 hcg with only being less than a week late so the question of multiples was thrown out there. Scan revealed one sack, and later scans, one baby. I do remember being bloated and feeling like I was showing from about 6 weeks or so, but no one else could see it.

Until the scan, you won't know! Congratulations though and I hope everything is perfect either way

hi ladies sorry for the late reply knopk I'm thinking it may be bloating too now because its becoming more when I eat :/ lol ... and god do I get starving at night even after my three meals a day ! lol
aww mel don't worry about wright gain honestly I'm sure you look amazing ! I find chunky pregnant women adorable tbh .. I'm odd I love the new podginess ive got going on haha
Firstfreak out !! wow pregnancy is so exciing isn't it .. I'm unsure of my hcg atm but I'm sure its fine my pregnancy line progression is as dark as the control and is more so every day .. my miswife is happy too
Wednesday .. well I always had pain when I ovulated .. I could pinpoint the exact moment the egg was released and which ovary .. but occasionally id have my mid cycle pain L ovary and huge pain on my right !! like owwweee it hurt so much .. went to the doctors as they already knew I had ovulation pain each month and was told it sounds like I produced an egg from both those months if it was on the same day as my other one O'd xxxx

I've always said that i would love to have twins, I have a history of twins in my family too but its never happened for me. However when i go for my dating scan in about 6 weeks time i really wouldn't want to be told i`am having twins now as my 2nd child will only be 15 months when this baby will be born, I think that my partner would run off lol

I don't think you'd feel any differently with a single or twin pregnancy so early on, only a scan can tell! The 'baby' is only cells at this stage so not big enough to create a bump, I'm afraid it's the dreaded bloat, lol! Some people have no symptoms; some have lots. I've had HG in two pregnancies now and it is more common with twins as your levels of HCG are higher. I was so worried about twins with this one as its my 3rd, but luckily only 1 bub. I don't think I could have coped with 2 already at home!! Good luck x
