twinges in cervix???

i think im just in a panic now as i have my scan tomorrow, i have convinced myself that something has gone wrong

all day i have had slight twinges which seem to be coming from cervix area, its not really painful and only lasts a split second i just wondered if anyone else has had this? i dont remember having it before and now im scared incase its my cervix opening

Try not to worry, i think its perfectly normal, i keep getting dull aching pains from down there, almost like period pains but not???

I think it is last minute nerves before your scan but tomorrow you will be reassured that everything is fine!!

i think i remember getting them in my other pregnancies, its like a little twinge for a second then goes? im getting it this time too.

Hi Babydust

I have had the same thing for the last three days. I worried at first so had a look in my baby book and on the net. From what I have read, I think it is nothing to worry about. I found this on http://www.i-am-pregnant.com/pregnancy/calendar/week/8

"One of the symptoms that you might feel around this time of your pregnancy (8 weeks) is cramping or pain in your lower abdomen or side as your uterus grows. Some pregnant women feel tightening or contractions of the uterus. Do not get alarmed if you do not feel this though."
