Hi Mums

Can anyone help me with this?! It's still painless but now been having this since 8.30am and are now more like 2mins apart! Can BH be this regular?!

See this link for this mornings post >>> viewtopic.php?f=5&t=86261

Didn't Dannii have this a little while back. Was BH they said.

have a dig around for her old thread on it. Might shed some light.

Sorry I can't help more

i had this a few weeks ago all day they got quite frequent and very strong.

I started timing them, and eventually went to bed still having them and all of a sudden they just stopped at 2am

SO mine was just strong BH but if you get worried at all just give your MW a call for advice.

I started to get BHs about a week before i gave birth.
Sometimes they would become quite regular and i would time them but then suddenly they would stop.
Sounds as if you are having BHs as you arent having any pain, but it could mean its getting close now :cheer:

I had this for about 2 weeks before I gave birth.

Believe me you will KNOW when it's labour :rotfl:

sound more like Bh your body preparing ..can go on for weeks tbh ...when you start getting the ones under your bump effecting your bumhole and cervix then that could be a sign of early labour ..untill then dont worry .. you wont mistake the real thing xx

Bumhole made me laugh :rotfl:

was quite tame for me eh

All I have to say to that is CAMEL TOE :rotfl:

u mite be in pre-labour! i had similar bout 36 hours before i gave birth i thought they were contractions coz they were frequent and they had "peaks" to them, iykwim. but they were not regular nor increasing i was told they were effacing pains as i was effaced but not dilated when i was examined. they stopped in the morning but by evening the real ones started! good luck if this is it!

I heard if its BH they will stop if you have a bath, but they get stronger if they are real. Never tried this though.

I had them for 5 days and was convinced I was in labour! Ask your MW to check you over if youre not sure xxxxx

I had regular BH every evening for about a week before I went into labour with my son. Every day they would build up into a pattern and peak, get me thinking this is it, then would just die off!! Its just your bodys way of preparing itself and practising for the real thing, believe me you will know when its really happening there is no mistaking! Not long to wait now hun

Thanks ladies!

Wasn't really worried that it was the 'real thing' as they are painless. Was interested to hear whether anyone had them regular like this before the real thing.

They carried on through the night, eased a bit this morning but are now building up again!

For what it's worth, it took me a long time to decide that I was in labour. And then it continued for another 55 hours after that :rotfl:
I think most people start labour with convincing contractions. Mine just built up from little niggles. I have no idea when I went into labour. By about 8pm on the Friday evening I decided to time the tummy aches, which were getting more painful, and they were 13 minutes apart. They just kept building until I had her on the Monday morning. It sounds horrendous having such a long labour but it was fine. Probably much easier to cope with than suddenly being in a lot of pain.

The good news about having regular BH before labour is that your body is getting ready and you may find that your labour is shorter as a consequence. I had painful BH for weeks before labour and I was 6cm dilated just an hour or so after my waters broke

Short Labour? Already 6 cms?! Kaila and Debbeca I love you two!!
