I remember this feeling from having my daughter, but can't remember how long it lasts... The feeling of "mini contractions" (as my hospital called them) / horrendous period pains... Currently it's the only thing really bothering me. The pain from my stitches is bearable, but this is driving me insane!!! I hate the feeling of 'emptiness' as well, it feels like all my organs have too much room. Eurgh! I know it stops in the end but it's bugging me!

(I was bed bound for 24 hours after delivering my daughter and in hospital for 3 days. This time, I was up moving about an hour after delivery and discharged 15 hours after that. In total I was in hospital less than 24 hours! Including labour!)

Xx

The after pains are supposed to be worse for second or more babies.

I'm dreading that bit. I never had any pains with my first.
