Ladies, my tummy looks like an ass, and I cant fit in2 any of my pre pregnancy clothes, and i am due back to work in 7wks!!

What makes my tummy worse than norm is that my muscles tore in half when i was carrying Rebecca, and i was supposed to make an appointment with physio but haven't had time.

Has this happened to anyone and if so what excersie etc worked?

Any help would be appreciated as I look like my lower half is the wrong way round!!! :(

Hiya, i wouldnt do any exericises until uve seen you physio, it can end up making you belly worse, maybe damage it even more. If u get the ok for exercise then you should try using a gymball, their excellent flattened mine out well, you can also buy a dvd called yoga gymball ive got it and swear by it, hope that helps xkelx

HIya the gymball was £3 from tesco and the yoga gymball dvd was on sale in WH smiths for £9.99 usually £15.99 but you can go on to www.play.com theve got them much cheaper there xkelx

Hi ya, I saw that DVD on sale in Argos and was going to get it. Is it good? I have a few DVD's but they are like high energy ones and I have lost a ton of weight and just want to tone up. Went out last night and everyone was moaning at me saying I have lost too much weight and looking scrawny (nice eh?) not my fault, wasn't intentional just feel off after I stopped breastfeeding! :( xxx

Hi Emma yeah its a real good dvd, yoga and pilates are both real good, their not cardiovascular exercises so you shouldnt lose mush more weight, they tend to strenghten and elongate the muscles, ideal for just having a baby, and most of the abdominal work and breathing help you tighten you pelvic muscles too. It also helped me improve my posture after having Kaiden, i was having real sore backs due to me stooping over with the weight of my boobs. XkelX
