hey all.

not had time to introduce myself yet im new to 2nd tri.

Im having cramps in my stomach but have had no bleeding. had major pain this aft when I stood up from my seat - had to sit back down again.

Has anyone else exerienced cramps like this?

I get a dull achy pain that lasts for a hour or less if I have lifted something a bit heavy or mabey stretched awkwardly.

Firstly, welcome hun

Secondly, could it be really bad trapped wind? That can be a killer! I had it really bad around 14 weeks and had my scan and everything is fine. I couldn't stand up either at one point, it was like hard contractions or something!

If you are worried, check with your MW, there is more than likely a really simple explanation, although I do understand it's scary

Cramps are scary aren't they?

vbut they are soooo normal, I asked the middy at a scan as I too worried and she said its the uterus is stretching oouch sounds painful doesnt it?

xx

I wouldnt worry too much unless the pain is accompanied with heavy bleeding or really unbearable and lasts hours on end. Sounds like ligament pain and yes I had that about the same time as you're at now and even now I have it now and then if I move suddenly.

try and rest and take things slower when moving about.

thanks girls.

had it checked out and doc said well.....basically what evryone here has just said. minds at ease now tho

xx

Aww that's brilliant, we work ourselves up a lot when we're pregnant don't we! But it is scary getting cramps so it's great you got it checked out

Now you can relax again! xx

Welcome
