Grace has had a little red blob like material stick out of her bellybutton for the last day or two, it is attatched to her inside - it isn't sticky or wet but just very red and gel like ????????? Up until then her bellybutton has been really clear and dry... am going to ask the HV tomorrow about it but wondered if you girls had any ideas ???

It sounds a bit like what Aimee had although her belly button didn't heal over before she got it. I think it was called an umbilical granuloma and we had to just dry it up. The gp gave us a silver nitrate stick but we never used it we just used salt instead and it went after about 3 days.
