Riley has never really been a good sleeper, but the last week at around 3-4am he's been up for at least an hour, usually 2, seeming to crying in pain.
He strains as if he needs a poo, but he's not consitpated, I don't think it's wind cos he's never suffered like this at night before.
Its driving me mad, I can't help him, he can't relax and go to sleep.
Anyone have any idea what it could be? I had started giving him a few oz of formula before bed, and wondered if that was it, but last night he had expressed breastmilk and then boob and he was still like it!

We had this problem but slightly earlier on in the night and I figured out it was banana as she was having weetabix & banana for brekkie, could it be something like that? Soon as we changed brekkie to something else the wind/pain stopped so we dont give her banana anymore
