Hi, I am just wondering if my vitamins are the right one, I am using Seven Seas but I noticed that they are quite cheap than the others....is because they aren't effective as the others? Which one are you using?:think::think:

Hi, I'm using seven seas as well. They were recommended to me, so went with them. Did have a bit of a look around. A lot of the other brands I found were pretty big tablets :oooo:

Price does not indicate effectiveness at all. You need to make sure you are getting the right vitamins. I bought mine from aldi for like 70p a tub

:confused:Yes, the others brand are very big, I was wondering why this difference in price and size
I do know that the only thing that matters is what it is inside, but how do I know which one is better for me??

I’m taking seven seas too, I feel they’re good as you know you’re getting the right vitamins to conceive and for the start of pregnancy. Taking normal vits can possibly give you too much vit A I believe can lead to birth defects... so any that are designed for ttc and early pregnancy are good :)

I tried lots of different vitamins. Most of them are like horse pills so Seven Seas are much better in that respect. In the end I just took folic acid/vit D as that's what's NICE recommended and improved my diet. It is worth looking at own brand conception vitamins if you do want to take something as they're so much cheaper than Pregnacare and not much different.

ive not been successful in ttc so might not offer best help but, i am taking 15mg zinc and 400mg folic. i am trying to basic back down what i take supplement wise purely because when i took wellwomen fertility i had anovulatory cycle, spotting before af and sore nipples (never happens) so was very convinced pregnant only to be all "fake". Last cycle i took coq10 and hate late ovulation and spotting. i am trying just zinc and folic now, hopefully new random spotting before af will go as its not happened before.

I take:
500ug vitamin b12
800ug folic acid
100mg vitamin b6
835mg omega
Iron 60mg think it has vit c in too.

I used to take vitamin D but now it's summer i try and go for short walks in the sun.

The multivitamin ttc ones are too big for me so i have small individual tablets and i wanted higher doses of some of the vitamins rather than the bare minimum.
