Hi all,

Im new to this forum.. me and my OH are both 24 and ttc baby #1 we are 3 months into trying after i was diagnosed with pcos at a private internal scan... just wandering if there is anyone else ttc #1 with pcos or in a similar place to us... ttc can feel a bit lonely sometimes... i already feel obsessed 3 months in haha!!

Hi Hannah and welcome to the forum. I'm ttc #3 and don't have pcos so I can't help there but didn't want to read and run. This forum has so many ladies on and it's such a nice place to be. Lots of advice and tips you've never heard of. It helped me conceive my 2nd and I b been here ever since!
Ttc is so lonely. Especial when no one or only a few know about it. It's stressful too and I don't think anyone knows how it feels until they are stuck month after month on a roller-coaster of emotion!
We're all here for you! No matter what our circumstances are x
Good luck hun x x

Hi Hannah I’m in a similar place to you - TTC #1 and have PCOS. I was diagnosed around 7 years ago and have always had a small worry in the back of my mind about whether it will cause problems or not. My OH has only felt ready to start trying in the last few months, so now I’m excited but anxious too. I can understand how you say you feel ‘obsessed’ already as I feel like that too! Good luck with your journey... perhaps we can check in with each other along our way?!

I’m still TYC #1. Diagnosed 10yrs a go and off the pill for 7ish

Hi Hannah, I’m 24 and ttc#1 too! We’ve been at it about 4 months so in a similar place in that regard. It is all consuming isn’t it? I try not to think about it but I think I’m too much of a control freak to leave my body to do what it needs to without me prodding poking recording and just generally intervening lol!

I’m not diagnosed with pcos but I had an internal ultrasound when I was 15, they told me I had it then but last year I was given the all clear although I was on bcp so I’m not sure, even if I had it there would be any cysts? Anyway I have 3 sisters who have it and one is currently trying, so I’m conscious that I could have it too.

Best of luck to you in your ttc journey xx

I have PCOS, although I still had a period most months but they were erratic :/
It's SO hard to keep my weight down and I get horrible hair on my nipples, chin etc and have to wax every couple weeks.
I got diagnosed when I had a positive preg test a few years ago and they wrongly diagnosed it as a molar pregnancy.

I don't want to sound negative but one thing I wasn't prepared for was the miscarriages , it gives you a higher chance of MC so maybe ask for some extra checkups in early stages to put your mind at ease...but it doesn't happen to everyone! I've got two healthy babies now almost 4+5 years old :) It took me 5 years to conceive my first and ONE TIME to conceive my second LOL! I'm also pregnant now so it isn't impossible x good luck x

Hi Hannah
I got diagnosed with pcos three years ago! I’m also Ttc baby number one! Third round of clomid at 100mg!
