TTC after thyroidectomy

I had my thyroidectomy 4 weeks ago now, I was wondering if it would be ok to start ttc again so soon after? I won't see my dr for 2 weeks so was wondering if you ladies had any advice?

Sorry I can't help but didn't want to read n run. A friend of mine successfully conceived after the same op. I don't think it was right away though. Have you discussed it with your Doctor? I know there's normally some adjustment of meds afterwards as your body settles down so the doctor will be able to give you better advice.

I'm not gonna be terribly helpful with this but when my Grandma underwent similar surgery in C.1947 her neighbours told her she wouldn't have any more kids. This was obviously incorrect as she had my Dad in 1952.....
