ok guys so i am just trying to understand what exactly this is during a typical cycle at different times in the cycle..

for example on my day 13,14 of cycle i had wet clear slippery mucus and easily got etc... and easily visable as in enough come out.
day 15 i get the stretchy stuff... the highly fertile stuff... and feeling wetter. accompanied by ovulation pains and even boob pain! (weirdly)...
day 16 however, first try i get some stretchy stuff (tiny amount) and on 2nd try cant really get anything out .. thinking maybe ive prodded about too much i try again 2hrs later and i really cant get any out, and again another 2 hours later. what does this mean? is it normal?

I find how cervical mucus changes thru out the cycle typically strange so please help me in explaining typically how it changes from fertile to ovulation and straight after ovulation etc... thanks :D

Around ovulation it's like egg white and after it's thick, white, chalky.

so when people say after ovulation its gone dry they dont mean like none there?

Fertile mucous is really just like egg whites: clear, stretchy, stringy and sometimes streaked with blood. Post ovulation is white/cream and not stretchy.

No, it's more that the discharge is quite dry and chalky. They might say that the egg white stuff dried up...at least that's how I understand it. It's a totally different consistency.

I would sometimes notice a lack of cm after ovulation but as long as you’re getting the ewcm at ovulation, thats the main point x
