Hi,

Im going to visit a relative in London in the next few weeks an my LO will only be 8 weeks old. I am travelling by train. Since arranging the trip i am now panicking as i do not know what to take and the stuff that i do i don't know how im going to get it there. Has anyone got any idea's whats best to do for the steriliser, travel cot etc...
Thanks in advance xxx

I'd take as little as you can, especially as your travelling by train and if you can buy there to stop trailing everything down that would help.
Pack everything into one bag, can someone help you on and off the train with bags etc.

How long are you going for? x

Forgot to add, could you not borrow a travel cot or some places loan them out as the pop up ones arent cheap especially if you already have a bigger one. x

i travelled on the train, over 200 miles with Flynn when he was 6 weeks old! we took our pram frame (it's huge) with the car seat attached so we could get around while we were there, and we used our god son's moses basket (he's now 1) to sterilise bottles i brought some cold water tablets, as they don't take up much room in packing! if your not going to be staying there for long (and as winters coming up) you could buy something like this http://www.silvercross.co.uk/accessories/for-prams-and-travel-systems/3D-Pram-Liner-and-Mattress/
to use as a cot, in or out of the pram itself (thats what my god son's parents did when they brought him to stay at ours when he was 4 months!) hope that helps x
