Travel???

i wasn't planning on traveling any time in the near future.. but plans change.
my grandmother passed away i wish she could have met my LO.
anyways the funeral is this weekend, 7 hour drive away. i am planning on making the trip, if my OB allows it.
i want this birth thing to happen a.s.a.p, but hopefully he/she can hold out unti we get home.
im nervous about the trip, if i am aloud to go.

you still have quite a while until your due date so hopefully travelling should be fine.

my midwife said try not to travel in a car/ flight for longer than 3 hours but if yu keep taking rests and stretch your legs i dont know why it would be a problem.

Oh i'm sorry to hear that. My advice would be to definitely take regular stops to stretch your legs and also an emergency container to wee in!!! Having done a 9 hour drive whilst heavily pregnant i know how you worry! I didn't need to use mine but reassuring just in case you get stuck in traffic lol. xx

I personally wouldn't travel. Baby really could come anytime now. Just from what happened to me was waters went and 5 hours later I had a baby in my arms and was a week early. I kept being told "labour takes ages" but that isn't the case for everyone. Good luck on whatever you decide . I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother.

hahah! a container to wee in! LOL.. i couldnt do that infront of my dad, two brothers, my mothers best friend, and my OH. we are all car pooling down together in the minivan! ahaha.
