I had mine done afew years back, it healed just fine. Ive since took it out but wish i hadnt, ill probably end up getting it re pierced. and i had no signs of it regecting either
Leanne where did you get it done? Do you know any good tattoo places in sheffield? Iv heard theres a good one in hillsborough some where? Im getting one done at the end of June but cant find a decent place. Iv had my piercings done at dragon tattoos but wouldnt trust them to do my tattoo.
yep there is a brilliant one in Hillsborough Jenna it is called Van Shaicks ( or Greg's as we call it) i have had ALL my peircings and tattoos from there and they are brilliant!!!
they look dead scary, especially Greg the owner, but they are as soft as brushes - a couple of them take the mick out of me when they see me coz i was such a pain when i had my tattoo on my back as i was screaming and swearing at them - he said he would NEVER go me a tattoo again
it might be the one people keep telling me about, every one says to go to felines but they do more tribal and stuff and dont really specialise in what i want. Theres a place in leeds that do what i want but that'll mean going there twice because they want a £10 deposit.
The only problem with giveing a deposit to the place in leeds is that i'll have to get some one to drive like 40miles then pay for NCP parking and take a chance that they'll be open. There very unorganised! DH had flames done on his leg and took almost 7hours! He only paid for 3 hours work because the guy was up and down all day and chatting to his friends. Was good because DH got a break from it but we had to pay like £10 in the carpark lol!!
At least it would be a good tattoo.
if im honest Jenna - they hurt like hell, but i have a very low pain threshold - everyone is different - they didnt hurt my mum, dad or DF.
i have 4 tattoos - the first on my shoulder didnt hurt too much although was awful, the second i had on my lower back (quite a bigish one!) and that hurt so much that i couldnt cope with the pain and i had to go back three times for them to carry on, the second time i went back i was actually sick in the tatooists - i was also screaming and swearing at the tattooists LOL - because of the pain, the third i had on my belly and although it hurt (and he had to keep stopping) it didnt hurt as much as on my back and the 4th time i had done just above my private area and although it only took him about 2mins it was bloody painful kid!!!!
i wouldnt suggest getting a tattoo on your lower back first, otherwise it will definatly put you off for life!!!!
i would def suggest you go down to Van Shaicks though Jenna they are fantastic - you wont be disapointed!!
As long as i dont look i guess i'll be ok. DH says its less painfull then a piercing but when you get something pierced its over in a second! My 1st one will be a tiny heart and star on my wrists then will be getting one on my back later if im not put off!
Had to carry the little tinker to the car when he had his leg done, there was a bloody trail from the tattoo place to the car Stuff like that make me feel reaaaallly light headed!
peircings never bothered me, i have had my ears, tragus, belly button and also had my beauty spot done (which i had to take out boo hoo) and none of them hurt yet having tattoos was the worst pain i have ever experinced - BUT it didnt stop me going for more LOL
the tattooists did say to me, after my crying, screaming and swearing at them they couldnt imagine me giving birth if thats the way i carried on having a tattoo
lol. I had my ears done at claires accessories and passed out and the lady told me never to come back for a piercing again!
So next time i had my lobes done i let my sister do it (shes trained). Not a good idea. I jumped and its all wonkey now. I wouldnt say iv had a painfree piercing but my industrial wasnt as bad as any of the others, they numbed it really well. Iv heard you can get a numbing cream for tattoo's but they dont like to use them. 8)
