How important is it to do this?

We don't have a car and the hospital is a good 15/20 mins away. The tours of the unit are only done at 7pm, and the bus that runs to the hospital during the day stops before then I think. I don't really want to have to nag my mum to take me as she already has taken me for all my scans, and when I've needed the drips and stuff.

How useful did people really find their tours? xx

I found it useful but that doesnt mean everyone will. I just thought it was good to feel like I was in familiar surroundings :)

I agree with MM. Labour is daunting enough without going into a place for the first time. The tour i went on explained what all of the equipment is for and everything so it wasn't quite so scary when i went in to have my son xx

I never had the chance hun and didn't really feel like I'd missed out :)

I didn't go, and tbh I haven't thought much of it until I seen this thread.. Everyone is different x
