Sorry not been on for ages how is Tilly's arm and kneck ? Has she been seen by a physio etc now?

Oh hey hun, was just thinking of you yesterday - how is little Theo doing?

Tilly's seen the physio a few times now. The last time she came she couldn't work with her very well because of the reflux so we didn't get many new exercises

Her neck has improved a lot but there is still a sore spot underneath where it has been stuck to her shoulder and she's still showing a preference to one side so I have to encourage her to move it with toys etc (I use the TV though, bad mummy! Lol) they thought she had a torticollis at first but she doesn't.

Her right arm is showing less movement than the left slightly so I have exercises to do to wake the muscles up and I have to encourage her to use it as much as possible.

I hope the little guy is doing well

Aww bless her has she not been referred to a specialist ? All babies with Erbs or dystocia problems should be referred at 12 weeks if still showing a difference.

Theo is good thanks he was signed off from consultant and just to keep with physio. We had the problem of preferring one side to the other, keepin his hand in a fist and not using the arm as much which caused his shoulder to tighten. We moved all his toys to his bad side and also laid him on his side so his good side was restricted and he had to use the bad arm. We've done alsorts to improve it and so far it's worked just need to keep on with it.

Does Tilly bend her arm at the elbow ok? Is she ok lifting her hand to her mouth if sat up? These were all the things we had to look out for

Keep me posted on how she is doing but she sounds to be gettin there x

She can lift her hand to her mouth but she doesn't do it with that hand very often. She uses the other hand much more.

I guess we just have to persevere and hope for the best. They didn't seem massively concerned about it I guess so that's good, she hasn't been referred to a specialist yet. I have the physio coming back next week so we'll review then I think.

I'm very pleased to hear the little guy is improving, that's wonderful news!
