Imogen wears a bib for meals (ones that are like an apron) to protect her clothes, but somehow the front of her tops still manage to get stained from the food. I have tried her with one of these a while ago... she wasn't keen.....  I am wondering whether to try again with this....

any ideas ladies, her clothes are getting spoiled by these stains (despite washing)....

thanks.

I dont know about bib things - I never really used them!! But my neighbour who is the god of removing stains in the wash swears by soaking the stain in milk for an hour before washing (just the stain, not the whole item)

Best way is to feed them in just their nappies :) They clean easily!

I got long sleeved bibs which were plastic backed as we were doing BLW and they have been fine. I think they are designed for painting in but they fully cover the top helf. They were in Poundland so really cheap, and they wash surprisingly well. They also have them in Matalan but a little more expensive.

We use long sleeved bibs too - plus I cover LO's legs with a muslin. Great for BLW.

Yeah long sleeved bibs are good. can get them cheap on ebay too x x x x

we do use the long sleeved bibs (from poundland and matalan) but it's the gap around her neck that seems to allow the food to go down onto her tops....   might put another smaller bib on first which fits her neck better.

thanks gals. x x

Try an absorbant (terry or similar) bib with an elasticated neck over the top of the long sleeved one. This is what we did when LO was learn ing to use a cup and seeemed to work.
