Surprise surprise Jack is no.2 but the thing I find interesting is that i've been in childcare for 11 years and have never come across a Jack. Also everyone I know doesn't know a Jack or if they do he's a grown man.

Where are all of these Jack's? lol x

My eldest is Jack lol but he's the only Jack in his class, he asked if the baby could be named Jack the 2nd lol

See thats my point ... I think Jack isn't as common anymore because more 'unusual' names are more common iykwim?

Jack the 2nd is funny, bless your boy! lol :) x

lots of jacks where i live!! :D but i love it too!! :D xx

We love it too! If baby no.2 is a boy which is highly likely due to boys being dominant on my OH's side he'll be called Harry which is no.3 on the list lol. If it's a girl she'll be called Sienna Joyce so a bit less common (Joyce is my OH's Nan who died when Jack was 4 days old and never got to meet him, he was her 1st Great Grandchild :( ) x

It's funny, I don't know any Jack's either. I love love love the name. Hope you're well hun.xxx

I know loads of them. Some of my friends have kids called jack, and theres lots at the Boys Brigade company i help at. Really interesting to see how far up and down the girls names jump up and down - but the boys are pretty steady. xxx

I suppose its dependant upon where abouts you live jack is more common in some towns thab others. I don't know any jacks.

I don't know any Jacks either! Alfie seems to be the name of choice round here, we know 4 all born in the last 12 months!

I must admit, I'm a bit upset that Caleb has finally crept onto the top 100!!! That's going to be my LO's name. Still, it's rare enough, and I don't know any Caleb's.

Alfie and Finlay seem to be the names of choice near me, I know so many of them!

xx

I thought the same about Caleb hun. I do really like the name though. xx

Nothing worse when a name you like suddenly appears everywhere.

If we had a girl we initially wanted Scarlet or Violet but they're everywhere round here now. Don't think there's any danger of LO's name getting on the list tho!

i only know of 1 jack, Zak seems most popular for boys around here and ava and sophia for girls! x

Yay my lo is zak bt not popular here at all. I've got a cousin on my side and a nephew on ohs both called jack. No lots of olivers and olivias too xx
