I got my BFP 3 days ago, I am 4-5weeks and have no symptoms at all other than the usual twinges. With my last pregnancy (sadly ended at 12wk due to BO) I was soooo tired all the time even before my BFP, I had sore breasts, nausea, bloating, headaches and could smell everything miles away. This time I have nothing, if anything I actually have MORE energy than usual and feel great!
Has anybody else experienced this? I am worrying that something may go wrong again, I know each pregnancy can be totally different but is it normal to feel so energetic at this point?
Thanks in advance ladies

I was actually surprised how good I felt in tri 1 (a bit of nausea aside), very different than with my lb. And now at 21wks I feel like crap! Try not to worry, every pregnancy is different x

Hi Miss KW,

Sorry about your previous loss.
When I first got my BFP I was the exact same for about a week or so, had a lot of energy and felt fidgety - took a fit of scrubbing the house and finding things to do! I had no nausea or sore boobs either at that point (was about 4-5 weeks). I also couldn't sleep.
Then I went on holiday and towards the end of that week, the fatigue and nausea and sore boobs started and have continued. I am now only 8 weeks.
I was worried in case something was wrong as to why I wasnt feeling any side effects but boy do I now!
But at the beginning maybe it was excitement or adrenalin, who knows?

Our bodies can be such mysteries and everyone is different. Give it a while yet, enjoy the lack of sickness and tiredness for now because it may just creep up on you yet!x

Sorry to hear of your previous loss MissKW..

With my daughter I felt great throughout my whole pregnancy. I had loads of energy. It surprised me as my son was only 7months old at the time. She was also my easiest birth. I have now come to the conclusion that I carry girls better than boys as both of my boys gave me hell in both pregnancy and labour.

Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xx
