I seriously feel like I just cant be bothered with it anymore, charting that is, and would rather have a dozy cuddle with OH in the mornings than panicking about it effecting my BBT!

Im pretty sure I can tell when im ov'ing from my CM, sex drive and slight cramps, so whats the point?

Does anyone else feel like this atall?

I dont chart and really dont think I would, I dont want to obsess about ttc too much, and I know roughly when I'm going to ovulate, I did think about getting a fertility monitor but I dont think I'm gonna bother, I'm just gonna use my instincts.

Do whatever feels right for you

haha sorry lol missed half of it off there. I feel the same, have stopped charting and feel a lot better. No pressure, no worries.

I agree! I think knowing the week of OV is enough, we can still get in plenty of BD'ing and try the pre-seed etc, but im not going to spend every waking moment of every day stressing about it anymore.

That rash I have on my arm hasnt gone away and turns out to be dermatitus....ive NEVER had anything like that, no eczsma or anything, and doc reckons its stress! :wall:

sorry can i ask where abouts would you OV in a 24 day cycle? :?

GGG I know its been driving you mad for a while now and I think you would be loads happier if you dont chart. You know your body and symptoms well enough now to go off them if u ask me.

Good luck hun xxx

Personally I think charting just makes you more stressed. Would you think about investing in a fertility monitor like persona I found it brilliant you just have to wee on a stick 8 days out of the month it tells you the 5/6 days you are fertile and highlights the 2 days when you should ovulate it is so so easy. It's a bit dearer than the opk sticks but there's no guessing involved. The starter kits is £65 this includes the monitor and 2 packs of sticks that you use for the first month then after that is a tenner a month for a pack of sticks I used it for about 2 years to prevent getting pg and then when I did want to get pg I knew exatly when I was due to ov it was brilliant.

I charted for 1 month then gave up i use Ovulation sticks and they tells me when i am ovulting.

Spot on as usual Jo

I wouldn't chart. I joined FF a while ago with the intention of doing it but then thought 'why bother?'. IMO it just puts more stress on you and OH and turns it into a medical procedure almost, instead of what it should be....two people who love each other creating a life. You only have to look at the unplanned pregnancies statistics to see you DO NOT need to chart or anything like that.

After coming off the pill and then all the upheavel of the miscarriage and the problems I havde had after it charting has been a godsend but I think in a couple of months when my body settles back down I will probably just check cm and maybe do opks to confirm.

If I was you I probably wouldn't bother temping- I might use the chart to mark the first day of AF and fertile cm but thats it

Not very experienced but never could tell from BBT whether or not ovulation had taken place. I go by dates and sometimes CM because CM is not always present for me. But then again we had only been actively trying for 2 months before I fell last time so I dunno...

This is just my first month of TTC. Started taking temps from day 4, found i kept forgetting and even tho ive remembered most morning, cant make head nor tail of it all!! Don't think i'll bother next month.
Used cheap OPK's from ebay which told me when ovulated, so will do that again next month.
Hopefully my cycle will get into some routine and so long as we do lotsa BD before ovulation there aint an awful lot more we can do, least thats the way i see it, but hey im a newbie!!!
