Hi, is there anyone that tore upwards (to your cliterous) in labour? Sorry way tmi!!!
I did and I have finally had the courage to look as I'm still in pain and it looks like they haven't stitched that part. Is this the case with anyone else? Again sorry for way too much information!!! I'm worried now!! X

Ooo thats sounds horrid. I,ve never heard heard of that!! I,d see your GP of health vistior if your worried. Hope it gets better soon. xx

I'm not sure how long ago you gave birth but it does take a while for things to return to normal 'down there'.
Has your MW been out to you after having the baby?? They should check your stitches when they come out to you.
Otherwise I would definitely see your GP if you think something isn't right. Good luck x

I have to admission it isn't nice send it was a shock when it happened because I could feel everything because I'd had no pain relief. I never knew it could happen either.
Its been 3 weeks. I've got another appointment with the midwife tomorrow to sign me off, I've been prescribed antibiotics due to an infection. Hopefully she can tell me if that part should be stitched. Suppose she should know seen as she's seen plenty before!! I was just embarrassed about asking. Thanks!! Xxx

I think this happened to my sister friend. Luckily she had an epidural. Her baby was 9pounds 1 I think. I never actually heard that before that though :eh:

I tore my labia and has a couple of dissolvable stitches xx

I think that must be what happened to me. I was horrified when I felt it tore!! I was never prepared for something like that. Apparently it's probably because she was born quickly. Are you all healed up ok now? Xxx

Yeah it took a few weeks b4 it was pain free I had to run water in the bath too wee as it was so painful for a while. Xx
