I am really struggling to stay awake & motivated at work gone 3pm, where i'd normally go home cook dinner sort out some washing or do some irioning - all I can manage is to put some soup in the microwave and doze on the sofa!! Is anyone else as exhausted as me?

i know exactly what you mean, one minute im ok the next i cant be bothered to move, im exhausted, i just lie down on the sofa, ( if get a chance my 14th month old doesn't want to have her day naps anymore....argh!!!! you might need some iron you might be a bit anemic. take care hun enjoy them rests.xxxxxx

I seem to have gone extremely tired in the past two weeks.I fell asleep on the sofa at 9pm last night. I have been having naps in the day.I''ll take the ones your LO doesn't want Amy.

im really tired all the time, but the i do have 3 young children to run around after all day!! lol

I am just the same...... after being on my feet at work all day I am just about ready for bed......

force myself to stay standing long enough to cook dinner and just about keep myself awake long enough to eat it and then it's to bed....

well actually, I fall asleep on the sofa about 9 pm and DH wakes me and tells me to go to bed but no -I tell him it's toooooooooo early for bed and then fall straight back asleep until 10.30 when he drags me up the stairs... now figure that one out......

surely I would be better off going to bed a 9pm but oh no.... these pregnancy hormones have a lot to answer too :rotfl: :rotfl:

in the early stages I actually went to bed once at 7.30pm and slept right through! felt almost guilty at being so lazy

doing better now though - managing to reach 10pm most days....!

only problem is I wake up again @2am and can't sleep for hours so feel knackered when the alarm goes off

i have felt like this since day one. i do feel really well other than being tired but i am at my worst after lunch, as you say from 3pm when i just want to go home and sleep. thought it was because im a bit low in iron but i guess we are all tired by now

I can totally sympathise - 3pm is a killer hour for me I really struggle to stay awake no matter what I'm doing.

And by 9pm I'm generally asleep or close to it! I'd like to say it passes but I think this is it until our little ones are teenagers :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

LBxx

My tiredness has stopped with the sickness almost two weeks ago now, I thought it would never end! I was falling asleep at any time and was sleeping loads at night too.

im feeling really tired and feel like ive got no energy for anything, im couting down the hours till i can crawl under the duvet!

Argh the past three days I am so desperately tired. I think I spoke too soon.

my m/w said to expect a small quick energy rush at about 27 weeks :D

Ooh I hope so, I need something. Thank goodness my sons at school so I get to have a kip during the day when I'm not busy. None today though, off for my course. Really don't want to go today, I want sleep! :wall:

I hope that's true, I'm moving house at 27 weeks and really can't face the idea of it at the moment! Hopefully the nesting instinct will kick in around then too to make unpacking relatively painless!!!

ive been like that since day one. ive just been prescribed iron tabs to see if my energy levels pick up. have snoozed so much and feel sorry for those with kids to run aroudn after!

I've had an energy surge the last few weeks, not felt anywhere near as tired-- however i'm now not sleeping very well, probably getting by on 5-6hrs instead of the 10 or so I was getting in the early stages

I'm working till 9 - had a proper hectic weekend & i'm shattered and i'm working till 9 tonight  how the hell i'm going to last I do not know!
