I keep finding now that just after lunch (ie now) I get incredibly tired and I find it very hard to concentrate. All I feel like doing is lying down in the corner somewhere. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to boast my enery levels? I only have a few days left but because of that I have a lot to get done as well.

Thanks

flippin heck, i though because I didnt really know your username you must have been first tri but omg your 37 weeks. Im not even there yet and im like a zombie sometimes.

What I find gives me a burst of energy is a big cold glass of water.

If I have a big lunch or dinner im shattered after that and find that still, small snacks work out best although I feel hungry quite a bit.

I hope your last few days go well

Thanks - will do myself a nice cold drink of water. I wouldn't have made it this far if the office didn't have air con fitted, I have to say!

I worked upto 37 weeks. I also did over an hours drive to and from work... so i know that tired feel ing very well.. and this heat doesn't help. I bought a fan and blasted it onto myself... i also started drink a cup of coffee around 3 to give me enough energy to drive home at 4.30... cold drinks help to wake you up too... try ice cold water (if you have a water machine) or full fat coke.. i know you shouldn't due to the caffeine but it does work...

i feel like a different person since finishing work.
x

u could maybe be anemic, ive just been told i am(im nearly 33 wks) and im constantly tired :( if u maybe make an appt with doc and ask 4 iron tablets, they r meant 2 help alot!! ive jst started takin them tho so cudnt say...

You could try nipping to your car on your dinner break and stealing ten mins nap. It's not long but set your mobile as an alarm or get a colleague to wake you. 10 minutes can do a lot to refresh you for the afternoon. X good luck hun
