I've got thrush again! Has any of you ladies had this while being pregnant? And if so what did you use to treat it. This is my 4th time. My doctor gives me canestan but it takes a long time to clear. So any advice would be appreciated xxx

I've had it recently but canestan cleared it up for me pretty quick

Did he prescribe the cream and pessary?

I had it a few weeks ago and was given a pessary, cleared it right up x

i think canestan is the only thing you can use for thrush when preggers hun, its likely all the hormones are causing it!! xxx

I was told not to use the pessay?? They just prescribed the 1% cream - which did do the job. I feel for you - its so uncomfortable

Thanks ladies, yeah it was the pessary that he has always given me. Its such a horrible thing to have isn't it xx
