does anyone know what thrush in the mouth looks like in a baby plz

its little white spots, like they have had a puky burp but it doesnt go away, if you think its thrush get LO to take even a few sips of water and if the white stuff is still their then speak to your gp or HV and they will give you something for it

i cant remember the stuff i got for colby but it was a gel you just rub on their tongue and teh tp of their mouth, hers cleared up within a day. It can putthem off their food sometimes but not always, only thing i can imagine it to be like is when you burn your mouth and go to eat something that horrible feeling but maybe it isnt

when Dior had it i was given a yellow medicine and told to try and get her to keep it in her mouth as long as poss. with Harley i was given a gel

i no its stupid. doc told me to swill it round her mouth for a few mins?????

and put it on the infected area????

she was only a few weeks old

it is thrush that Alastair has, he actually has laods in his mouth poor little bugger

got some gel to rub on his mouth so hopefully will clear up soon
