Well Albert has discovered that when I am burping him he can throw himself backwards, he throws his head back and kicks out his legs. (I reckon he's going to be one of these children who goes dead straight when you try to put them in a pushchair lol) He caught me by surprise earlier and I only just caught him  he frightened himself and started crying which nearly set me off too looking at his poor little face!

He also keeps stopping breathing whilst feeding. We have our 6 week check tomorrow so will mention the breathing thing then. It's almost like he is so hungry he forgets to breath, daft child! Frightens the bloody life out of me, I have to sit him forward and pat him on the back.

I'm glad he's developing his muscles but it's not doing my blood pressure much good! xxxxxx

if he holds his breath just blow in his face, it makes them take a breath in shock lol. its quite common for babies to hold their breath hun.
Alyssa does the fall back thing while burping too, its scary when they nearly fall!

Harrison used to do the same with his burps, I used to sway him forward and backwards till he either burped or was calm enough to be burped properly!!
xxx

My LO is 6.5 months & throws himself about constantly, he needs to be held so tight. He gets everywhere this is where the trouble begins I think

xxxxxxxx

AJ does the both to hun. I normally blow in his face. lol. He kills me with the arthhritis when he throws himself back and won't bend in the middle.
