Had a good chat with the OH last night about moving out of his dad's. He's desperately worried about money and wanted us to stay here a while after Albert is born to save more.....I said no. I cannot stay here whilst on maternity leave let alone if I have a c-section and can't get out of the house. His step mum has been smoking around the pram which we were keeping in the lounge for now so I've had to wash all the covers and we are having to pay for storage :poke:. The inlaws drink far too much during the day for me to feel happy having a baby in the house (I have no problem with it it's their life but when their drinking has already killed one of my pets it's a no no with the baby around).

I had to threaten him with going back to my mum's with the baby for him to realise how much I really cannot stay here.

So, over the weekend we are going to sort out financing a park home. There's loads round here and we can get a lovely 2 bedroom place with a garden for less than 90 thousand  (never thought of it before) and from what I've seen the monthly payments would be cheaper than renting.....so at the moment that's our plan

Fingers crossed pleased ladies, I'll end up in prison if I stay here after the birth xxxxxxxxx

Sounds like a good plan hun, hope it all comes together for you xx

Hope you get sorted hun. Doesn't sound like a nice environment to be in, especially with a baby. Smoking around the pram is just disrespectful...ok its their home but that doesn't mean they can relinquish all responsibility and respect. I imagine it's one of those situations where pulling them up on it would just result in a massive row = more trouble than it's worth. Which you don't need when pregnant.

Good luck hun :) xxx

Well done for putting your foot down! I had to be like this with hubby the other day because he wanted to move house again (we've only lived in our house 2 years it's a masonette in a block of flats) and I told him no and that was the end of it! :) you've got to think about what's best for you and your child. Xxxx

First of all well done for putting your foot down honey.

Park homes are awesome, I would totally live in one but I don't think hubbies family would be too happy :), I love em :) so go for it...

xxxxxxxx

Got details through of a home we are looking at and it's lovely....just waiting for details from finance companies. Eeeeek I'm so excited cos OH said he can approach his boss for the money if need be, which would work out even cheaper. Am so excited :bunny:

On a baby note mummy sneaked out yesterday and bought the first round of fabrics for Albert's nursery stuff  xxxxxxxx

well done for putting your foot down honey. How exciting that everything is moving forward now. xxxxxxxxxxx

Excellent work!! We have a development of park homes near us and they look amazing!! More room than I had in my first bungalow that's for sure, and I think their resale is quite high too. It will be soooooo lovely for you to have your own space!! Bet you are so excited. Yay!! How quickly before you can move in??

As soon as we sort the finance out really but not expecting too many problems. We have some options xxxxxxxxx
